Corner Night Light

Simple light with effects.

Similar projects worth following
Corner light with addresable leds and a temperature sensor that can be controlled through a capacitative sensor.

This project was intended to be a corner lamp, in order to optimize the space, not everybody lives in a californian mansion... it was designed with a few things in mind, for example, a shape without corners, some people can use this for his bed.

It was thinked to have a termometer mode, blue colors from the bottom to red colors to the top, switching some leds from temperatures at 15ºC to 35ºC (the most usual temperature range in a home).

Also its thinked that have a love mode, with dancing pink, red and purple colors, you know ;-D

Fire mode its another must have...

It doesnt have buttons or anything, only touch the metal to switch modes, long touch turn it on or off, short touches change modes.

Programable via USB to change the modes and patterns, also the only way to supply energy its the USB port to, no big, chunky and old barrel jacks.

Its intended to make a bigger and better version, this only measure 12cm of height, the new version must measure almost 20cm and got an IR sensor on each glass/methacrylate panel in order to have tactile detection, all this inputs gonna be to set the mode and light intensity, it also gonna have a capacitative sensor on the body to turn it on or off.

Some variations are made, more aestethic, but with shape corners or even not sperical shape, maybe I made a 180º variation for walls aside from the corner version, I want to see the acceptance of the public.

This project its shelved because I dont have money to make it real, and now im more interested in work for the higher version.

best if LEDs are hidden in plain sight.

I use deep render options, you need some time to learn how to make them.

Cool, the light reminds me of some of the organic shapes from #I LOVE LAMP
