eurorack NLC 4069 synth diy Harsh Noise

Description

weird vactrol-controlled phase-locked-loop module. I bought the PCB from NLC. as suggested on the MW thread I tried using a flickering LED and a cycling RGB colour-changing one instead of the normal red. The RGB one I don't think has a dramatic enough effect for my liking but the flickering LED does nice semi-random sequences/arpeggios. so i think i'll make it switchable between red + flickering. I used a DIY vactrol, LDR glued to a square red LED and covered with electrical tape. Sounds pretty great/crazy so far., all sorts of drones and lasers and bees. Need to make a faceplate next.

as someone on the forum suggests it might be a good idea to add a knob to inject a DC offset, gonna try that

Made a panel. Drilled a bit wonky but it fits.
