At the moment, emulator is very basic:

    • 6502 CPU emulation (without timing)
    • very basic TIA (WSYNC and COLUBK is handled)
    • memory mapping
    • 4K rom cartridges linked into the firmware
    • NTSC color palette and screen

The kernel which is linked-in is taken from this great Atari tutorials: https://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-tutorial-andrew-davie-08.html, this is very basic program which just draws color stripes. But it works! :)

The next steps for this project:

    • implement instructions timing (for TIA to be aware of clock pixels)
    • implement sprites and TIA registers
    • PIA registers
    • input controls
    • sound
    • proper storage of ROMs on badge flash

    So, long journey ahead!
