Jay8eeThrilled to report that Cheapdate V1 is now fully operational!
Once I tracked down the last issue (a short on the main CPU), I plugged the screen in and saw my triangles.
Will do another more detailed post for anyone following along.
Pumped after this one.

Nicely done! did this project move on at all afterwards? I assume the prototype PCB is noweher near as small as you intended. and since getting hold of the Sharp screen and having those pretty big prototype boards made at OSH, I'm not sure this still qualifies as a Cheap date anymore ;) (of course I could just go see your twitter....)
