This log is posted more than a little late...

Here it is! Albeit without the breadboard & battery

Before making it all one piece we assembled all of the legs.  We had them is this giant stack:

What's next?

We need 18 PWM pins to control all of the servos...  So we ordered a TLC5940 breakout from Sparkfun.  It doesn't play nice with MicroPython currently (working on that), so for now I'm going to use an ATMega328p to bridge the connection.  The Arduino library seems good, at least if you go through the Library manager.  So getting all of the servos actually connected is the next task...
