This is a smartwatch powered by a STM32l4+ mcu. It has a 390x390 OLED screen, IMU and bluetooth.

It started with an idea.
I wanted to make a homemade watch with leds. So i did a couple of pcbs which turned out to be pretty good but i was bored with the limitations.

So i decided to go full on and make a smartwatch instead.

I found the STM32l4+ disco board and i thought this is a perfect starting point. I've never worked with either STM32 or DSI interfaces before so this will be a challenge.

My idea is to keep it pretty simple. I will focus on battery-life and simplicity.

So the clock will have:
* Bluetooth capabilities
* Accelerometer
* OLED screen
* An app for android/ios for network connectivity, messaging and calls.

  • Kicad 5.1.2

  • 1 × STM32L4R9VI ARM Cortex M4 MCU
  • 1 × Battery LiPo 3.7V 200mAh
  • 1 × Bluetooth module Seeedstudio HM-11
