squeezelite Squeezebox lms airplay bluetooth spdif ESP32 I2S ESP-IDF amplifier

This project was created on 09/12/2019 and last updated 6 年前.

Description

... It all started when we decided to see if it would be possible to port Squeezelite to the ESP-IDF platform, running on an ESP32. Some weeks later, an amplifier board with a ton of feature came to life, animated by a custom firmware running a customized version of the trusty squeezelite software along with some cool features like Bluetooth sink, Airplay sink as well as an SPIF port and a line out connector.

I bought my wife a SqueezeBox years ago and figured it was a dead platform by now. Interesting to learn that there's still a community.

And that community is very active and passionate!

It's unfortunately now a much smaller set of users, but it's extremely active. I would say it has kept up with or being ahead of all you can want from a music management platform
