SMD Challenge - QFN manual soldering

This is not easy. It is not about small resistors of 0201. It is about accurate alignment and extended pads for QFN.

I am using this to practise my QFN soldering. Both the SAMD in QFN32 and 5 resistor array are bit challenging to solder. However the classic way is still effective. Tin the pads. Apply the flux. Align the component. Use the soldering iron or a hot gun. That's it. Check this video, https://hackaday.io/project/6580-smd-soldering-made-easy

When you start the soldering as a hobbyist, desoldering is one thing you need to learn sooner or later. Then both solder wick and a hot gun are your friends.

With the hot gun, you will start to use solder paste. Then stencil, and a baking oven or overflow chamber. Perhaps a microscope in the end.

Do you need all of these tools? It is up to you.

I put it on the Tindie, https://www.tindie.com/products/ndgarage/toucan/.

Usually I  am using no-clean flux and I did not try to clean it under the chip. I use isopropyl alcohol to clean the outside flux.

Are these board available? I'd like to build on the SMD skills I picked up at Supercon.

In the video in your previous project, it looks like you're "gluing down" the QFN chip with flux. Is that right? Can you effectively clean the flux from under the chip?
