After numerous iterations in my project of Lora PAGER, I finally selected the hardware (ESP32 lolin lite + RFM95) & designed the enclosures.

Started under the name of in 2018, I m now finishing the product. The idea is to offer an opensource telco-less text communication collection of point to point tiny pagers, based on MESH and Lora protocols. I was inspired by the old BBS Fidonet network organisation of the 90ies . Such a device is a way to freely communicate for fun, also in emergency situations where all cellular networks are down. I an willing, with your commitment and enthousiasm, to create an international free SMS network.

I've had an idea for a long time of creating an SMS network that works like echolink.  I know there is APRS, but I find it limiting, complex, and clunky.  If we can use echolink to connect to remote radio stations and talk, can't we do the same thing with texts?  I know there are security hurdles to overcome, but my idea is why I'm interested in your project.  Also your website has been hacked by team socket.

is it possible to buy a prototype somewhere? I'd like to test. have a similar project and it works fine point to point 5-8km range. the mesh communication with Lora wan gateways will take more time to develop.

Sounds awesome, how does one get involved? Perhaps some sort of Kickstarter would be a good way to get things in gear? I'd consider contributing.

First pcb arrive  this week. I want to test and have a zero fault/errors before we start a crowdfunding campain. No question to give any frustration to helpers.
