I have been working with MCUs since many years now (>15 years) and STM32 platform since a few years.

I have seen engineers struggle to program devices in the production. They end up setting up a full PC and IDE with code or Programmer software to load the program and do all the configuration like block read memory, program if any OTP areas need to be written using scripts or manual entry.

I always wondered if there is a way to solve this messy process?

Can't we just have a small board which plug in your application board using a few pins and programs it with your firmware and does all the settings as well in a few seconds?
An if that small board has an option to hold many firmware and you are able to select?

That's what I am trying to do with this little board, I named Flashy 1.0 ;)
