PassStrong is a 10$ bluetooth dongle that generates and enters strong password (32 characters, no simple pattern). See here for the key details : https://hackaday.io/project/169969-passstrong

Thanks to the remarks of the previous version, this version has several improvements:

- pincode to secure the bluetooth connection. The 4 digits code is generated randomly and can be changed (or returned back to 0000, which is the default and means no pincode, for devices not supporting pincode pairing, such as some android phones) by pressing the small button when in the last (and new) section of the settings menu.

- power saving ability : the device automatically shuts off after 10 seconds. To shut it on, you just need to press the bigger button

- password erasing : pressing the small button during startup will wipe the pincode & password

BleKeyboard.h

You need to replace the file with the same name of the ESP32 BLE Keyboard library library with this file to add the pincode setting capability (not present in the initial library). Library used can be found here : https://github.com/T-vK/ESP32-BLE-Keyboard

Ok I hate to the the noob, but how do you get passwords into the m5 ? I did get it all to compile and upload. Bluethooth is seeing it

PS : Password are generated randomly ("regen" function) and stored (crypted) into the M5. They are super strong (32 characters random) - hence the name of the project !

I am working on a new version . If you buy me a beer I'll post it. If I have enough time i'll add features such as storing several passwords so that you can use different passwords for different applications.

You have two solutions 1) Follow the instructiond given here and in the passtrong project page and ensure arduino uses the modified version of the library

2) Change my code to remove references to the two parts i changed (two additionnal parameters to the ble class allowing you to chznge appearance of the device and pincode setting)

i have fresh installation of arduino 1.8.12. esp32 version 1.0.4. BLEKeyboard 0.2.1. M5stickC 0.2.0. is there some other library i need to instal? i found in the link that version of esp32 1.0.1 worked so i downgraded my version to try but didnt help.

The blekeyboard you need is here. You need to install it manually (just replace the files from your other library. Make a copy first) https://github.com/T-vK/ESP32-BLE-Keyboard

I think you do not have the latest version of esp32 or other libraries. Upgrade and it should work.

i downloaded the modified files BleKeyboard.cpp and .h from files on this page and put them in C:\Users\rezni\Documents\Arduino\libraries\ESP32-BLE-Keyboard and got the error :

hi, i really like your project. i bought for this m5stickC and want to try it. this is my first time working with arduino and i donwloaded libraries and copy/paste files for bleKeyboard bud i get this error when i try compile it and i just could google it out.
