Introducing the Air Tunnel , a high flow near silent air sanitizer. Destroys Viruses, Bacteria, Mold, Fungi and VOC's

A stack able design that allows multiple units to be attached together when built. Large inlet area and venturi exhaust supports higher flow , but at a near silent 27 db. Interchangeable fans allow for faster more aggressive air flow options as well as different color glow options, even RGB controlled by Bluetooth. Spiral inlet pattern encourages spiraling air effects as it enters the UV glow chamber.

i. Concept- Is the project creative, original, functional, and pushing boundaries? Does the project effectively address the selected challenge?

ii. Design- Is there a depth of design detail available (like a system design, CAD models, project test methods, etc.)? Is there base-level planning for the functionality (e.g., functional block diagram, list of specifications and descriptions of how they will be met, etc.)? How user-friendly is the design?

iii. Production- Is the project realistically reproducible (taking into consideration necessary materials, skills, and production processes)? Are the manufacturing processes detailed? Are those processes realistic for scalability?

iv. Benchmark- How well is the project impact and viability demonstrated? Are estimated costs realistic? How well does the project improve upon other currently available solutions?

v. Communication- How thoroughly have the Final Round requirements been completed? How well documented is the project? How “open” is the design?

Introducing the Fire Fly UVC Air Tunnel

Your Silent , Powerful, Ali against Viruses, Bacteria other airborne VOCs.

With the political and health climate today, we need to be aware of how we deal with pathogens. The ways germs and bacteria are transmitted are touching surfaces, air borne contamination and bodily contact transfer. The Air Tunnel heads off the most difficult kind of transmission for disease to avoid. This technology should be used in every place multiple people interact for overall public and personal health. Air Tunnels can be place around the home as individuals or stacked to double or triple capacity in large rooms where any conventional air filter would struggle to handle the air volume.

Features of Interest

- 99.9 % of Airborne Viral and Bacterial bodies destroyed.

- Destroys VOCs in the air with high energy photonic reactions

- High flow capability to sanitize a large volume of air in a short time duration

- Silent modes of operation even when sanitizing more than 50 cu ft per min.

- Color options including RGB LEDS for those who want to change up the lights or are tired of the ice blue glow

-Stack able modular design reduces the changes needed to go from a single Air Tunnel Unit to 2 , 3 or more in order to meet the volume needs of the room being disinfected.

What Air Tunnel is is NOT

- The Air Tunnel primary purpose is not an air filter purifier. Though the Air Tunnel does have a MERV 13 air filter media capturing particles as small as .3 microns, This is the same filtration standard as N95 Masks,  the primary purpose is to keep stagnant air moving through the sterilization chamber. Air Tunnel design avoids multiple heavy layers of filtration media both for reduction in cost and improved function of the glow chambers cyclonic action

There are some mosquito traps like this- they suck in the bugs and dehydrate them vs using an electric grid.  Some also have TiO2 coatings - which is a photo-catalyst (UV sensitive) that turns VOC's of all types into CO2 to attract the bugs.  Look up PECO (Photoelectrochemical oxidation) for the specifics....

There are lots of mosquito traps out there really cheap. This bad boy is only for catching and killing the hell out of single cell size organisms.

I am thinking if you can add a high voltage grid with a small high voltage circuit inside, and little modifications it will e perfect for attracting and killing mosquitoes. I really want to built some of them for my garden in Greece. We are full of mosquitoes.
