ongoing project
microchip dspic dsp signal processing digital filter FIR IIR

This project was created on 06/20/2020 and last updated 8 months ago.

Description

This development board is one of my older projects (built on homemade PCB) and is especially useful in testing digital filters. It's designed for dsPIC33FJ32GP202 but can be used with many other dsPIC in 28 pin DIP package as well.
The board is equipped with 16 bit ADC LTC2364, 16 bit DAC LTC2642 and USB interface (COM port). AC input signal is shifted and centered at 1,65V with OPA365. The same opamp is used for buffering the output of the DAC.
There are no anti-aliasing and anti-imaging filters on the board but they can be connected to 5-pin IN/OUT headers. I had designed a "plug and play" filters for this purpose but, unfortunately, i can't find them anymore.
There is also a I2C header for connecting external sensors.
