This device was built out of necessity as our Puppies incessantly barking at anything. Using the Adafruit Playground Express's sound sensor we play a tone @ 17.5 Khz which is within the hearing range of a dog, but not human ears.

For me to make use of this, I'd have to build something like this in a waterproof enclosure with amp and a large transducer to blast the deterrent sound over the fence at my neighbor's damn dogs. Either that or eliminate all the squirrels in the area, since they seem to be the main source of canine torment.
