Description

BeeLive is a data logger project. The main aim is to collect important environment information from bee hives to help farmers to better predict honey production and general beehive health. The first phase of this project focuses on collecting internal and external temperature, humidity and hive weight. The long term goal is to create a smart, AI edge powered node that collects statistics of the amount of bees moving and also proportion of pollen carried inside the hive.

Components

  • 1 × ESP-32 micro-controller and communication module(WIFI used)
  • 1 × DHT11 external humidity and temperature sensor
  • 1 × HX11 weight sensor
  • 1 × DS18x20 internal temperature sensor
  • 1 × 3.3V Li-ion Battery General purpose li-ion battery
