These designs were produced by a team of 20 volunteer engineers through the Helpful Engineering non-profit organization. We are looking for people to help!- We need people who can build and test these and give us feedback on how to improve.- We would like to partner with someone to manufacture these at scale. Here is our Github:https://github.com/helpfulengineering/project-temperature-detection/wiki

Your Github lists multiple IR sensors. Are you using them all together, or did you settle on just one?

Dan - good question. The device uses only one sensor. We have designed around using one of a certain Melexis sensor, but have tried to keep it open to adapt the design by substituting a different brand or part number. Since raw temperature sensors are in short supply, we have been attempting to have more flexible sourcing options.
