A thesis borne out of the belief that music is a language, in every sense of the word! I used chords as a fundamental unit of composition, and built a 1-degree Markov chain out of the chords from the Beatles' catalog. Then, I took the entropy, to see if it would measure the notion of "predictability" or "chaos" as we might think of it in music.
