cat scrapping post

standing post for a cat, for scrapping

Similar projects worth following
This is a project for creating a cat scrapping post/house with generic components and some printed stuff.

Rope usage is something like 25 metres per 0.5 metre of the 75mm pipe. If you get longer pipe - just multiple by the additional 0.5 blocks used. If you get wider rope (like 8mm) - this is great for the purpose and more importantly you need less metres.

This version doesn't include a hook for hanging cat's toys. It's supposed to go to the bottom part of the connection.

A good idea that I need to try. My cat goes through store bought scratching pads very quickly and I need to put down my soldering iron for a change and make something like that :-)

The easiest solution would be just to replace a rope if it gets too worn.

Very true and the price for one of these is too high in the store considering the materials used. Better to make it at home. Good job :-)
