It can be awfully difficult to find certain types of batteries — among several reasons for this, they may be too old, too uncommon, or even unavailable in your country.

That's why I created this initiative to crowd source documentation and 3D models of batteries. The goal is to provide an open source 3D model and STL in addition to as much detail about the batteries operation as possible.

The models can be used to 3D print adapters so that you don't have to modify vintage (or even modern) electronics to accept alternative power sources.
