Smart ring/smart ring OS centered around the nrf52 series of SOC ICs. OS provides a driver architecture allowing an arbitrary set of sensors to interface with Bluetooth LE GATT services. OS/hardware configuration is largely controlled through header files, device APIs, and a presentation layer to allow binding of devices to BLE services. The current embodiment being worked on is a demonstration platform utilizing off-the-shelf boards to bootstrap the development process.

Scope of supported BLE GATT services includes: battery service, current time service, health thermometer service, heart rate service, pulse oximeter service.

Current hardware support includes temperature (nrf52 SOC), pulse oximeter (MAX30101). Current sensor support development is for the BMA250 accelerometer, and algorithms needs to support the running speed cadence service (RSCS).
