Desktop clock and calendar displayed on a 7" LCD panel, driven by a raspberry Pi. Because you can never have too many clocks...

Build is simple, take...
1 raspberry Pi
add your favorite display and add a Linux x-windows app written using the Allegro graphics library.

The hardware added was a DC-DC converter that lets the system run on one 12vdc power cord for the display. (The DC-DC provides power for the pi)
