This project was developed in partnership with Robô Lúdico School and JLCPCB Factory that offers 5 free PCBs of Arduino Compatible Board.

Maybe you are experiencing this problem and don't know how to solve it. I'll give you a solution for the Arduino loose connection problem.

I recently had a big problem with my Arduino project. I made the project, but the project didn't work, and I wasted hours trying to find the problem in the circuit and in my code.

After a while, I noticed that the project worked when I held the wire.

This problem happens because there is a loose connection problem of the wires with the Arduino pins and with the holes in the breadboard of the project.

If you don't learn to solve this problem, then you will have some consequences in building your project.

Give me a few minutes, and I'll show you a solution to reduce the loose connection with the Arduino problem.

In this project, I will teach you how to reduce this problem. I created a shield board for Arduino UNO.

I'll explain how it works, and we'll release the files for you to produce your board.

Let's start?

Shield to fix problem of loose connection in Arduino

Most people use low-quality cables and this can create problems in the electrical connections of your circuit.

The first way to avoid loose connections is to choose high-quality cables with female connectors. They are more secure and are attached to male headers.

This type of connector is safe and inexpensive. It is quite used in many projects.

Thinking about this type of connector, we developed a board to facilitate connection and prototyping. It is a shield for Arduino.

Now, we will introduce its features and usage advantages.

Why was this board created?

The shield circuit board was developed with the objective of reducing loose connection in Arduino circuit of your project.

The board is connected to the female pins of the Arduino and has several male headers for connecting the wires. See the figure presented below.

Did you win the files on that board? Follow this process and get 5 free units. It is easy to assemble!

You must follow all these steps below.

In addition to avoiding loose connection problems, this board solves other problems.

The other problem is the complexity of connecting the project wires. Imagine the following situation. You have 5 buttons in your project, and you need to wire the GND terminals together. What do you do?

The vast majority of people connect all wires through soldering and insulating.

However, this is a problem because it increases the complexity of the connection, and it is not suitable to connect multiple wires at a single connection point.

How to solve this problem?

To solve this problem we put in several buses. For example, we have 2 buses for GND.

This way you can connect each button to a pin on the bus, keep the structure organized and avoid any loose connection problems.

In the figure below, we have the image of the layout of the printed circuit board.

Now, see the connector to power supply the board.

In addition to the header connectors, I added a screw connector to power the project with a voltage of 9V.

This connector is great because the wire is fixed through a screw. It is highly resistant and prevents looser connections.

Some boards are designed with screw connectors. This makes connecting the wires easier, as it does not require the use of connectors at the wire ends.

Finally, we finish the explanation of the shield project. It will easier the construction of your project and reduce the loose connection.
