After a toe biopsy surgery, I had to find a way to continue working while elevating my feet. I did research on lay down desks, but they cost upwards of $4,000! Even if I had the money, I wouldn't have time to get it shipped in time. At the last minute, I realized that I had just set up a swivel monitor stand in my living room soldering desk, so I rotated it around over the edge of the desk and tilted it down to the floor. I then realized that I could just slide a mattress under the desk and prop myself up with some pillows and it worked! I was able to lay down and work with my legs raised while my toe was healing from surgery! It was so comfortable that I wish I could keep using it, but it took up a lot of living room space. The only issue was the keyboard because I didn't have a very good stand for it and I just placed the keyboard on a pillow on my lap. The mouse was so comfortable at my side because I could just keep my arm straight without bending it much.
