Without the actual intention to build this machine at the beginning, I started of with random cut offs from ebay. (Just planed to improve my former CNC milling machine)

I cut the components roughly to length..

First I  used the bench top lathe (that was borrowed to me for a different project :) ) to get the dimensions of the parts on point

First finished parts...

Critical dimensions (bearing seats) were machined on the bench top lathe

All components were machined just by using basic tools and the bench top lathe - no milling machine involved :)
Test fit of the components..
