This product update introduces new features that address user-requested improvements to the GameCubePC kits.
2.5" Drive Support, New Fans, & Rear I/O Cutout
A 2.5" drive mount has been added to the inside of the bottom shell which uses 4 flat-head screws from underneath to secure. The drive can plug into the SATA3 connectors on the underside of the motherboard using the manufacturer-provided cable.
The fan hub board has been re-designed to support the newly added 4-wire fans which use PWM speed control from the motherboard. This allows the unit to run significantly quieter when extra cooling is not required. The standoff for the fan hub board was also raised so it no longer interferes with certain CPU coolers.
For ASRock X300 & X600 motherboards, cutouts for the rear I/O ports and wireless antennas are now provided in the bottom shell for ease of assembly and an overall sleeker aesthetic.
New Harness Connectors
The USB GC adapter and front panel USB harnesses now plug in using detent locking connectors, which are more robust than the previous DuPont style connectors.
