Uses this for wireless communication. Pretty straightforward schematic/board can be found here. Next revisions will be battery-operated. Data is logged in Grafana.

The sensor can be configured to capture environmental data at an arbitrary frequency, and defaults to once every 5 minutes. This can communicate over very long-range (measured up to 600 m LOS before running out of road!), so can be placed anywhere around the house, or even outdoors and still easily reach the base station, which is basically another of my long-range boards, connected to a computer through USB using this simple FT232 board.

Like all other projects here, this automatically associates and joins a private area network using the 802.15.4 protocol.
