The sensing element, which detects absolute pressure, is made of a suspended membrane created by ST using a proprietary process.

The LPS25HB comes in a full-mold, holed LGA package (HLGA). It is guaranteed to work in temperatures ranging from -30 to +105 °C. External pressure can reach the sensing element through holes in the package.
