The Camera waits for motion to be detected by the motion sensor then records for 10 seconds then checks again. It has a USB WIFI antenna connected so that files can be transferred via SCP and SSH. The raspberry pi is running headless Raspbian to conserve battery, and I have set it up to run the camera code on start-up. 

I designed the case using fusion 360.

I put the camera outside with some food to test it out and got these videos:

(the first 2 are fuzzy because I hadn't properly focussed the camera, but it is fixed in the others)
