Microcontroller driven boost converter.

LED driver ICs are not terribly expensive but this a very simple way to implement voltage boost from a 1S li-ion cell.
Any inductor can be used, but frequency should be optimized for that specific inductor.
ADC will monitor the LED voltage in case of LED failure or disconnection.

Rev1: working.
Rev2: minor tweaks, add battery voltage sensing.
  • 1 × STM32F030 Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, DSPs / ARM, RISC-Based Microcontrollers
  • 1 × 10uH inductor
  • 1 × ALS-PT19-315C/L177/TR8 Ambient light sensor
  • 1 × DSK24 Schottky 2A, 40V
  • 1 × MCP1700T-3002 3.0V LDO regulator, low Iq
