Introduction

The ATtiny85 is a microcontroller in a kindred vein to the Arduino, but with much fewer IO pins, more minute recollection, and a more minute form factor. In fact, when we verbalize about the ATtiny85 we refer to the IC itself rather than the board. The ATtiny85 can be utilized as a bare chip on a breadboard, as long as you can supply the correct power for the contrivance.

But most commonly the ATtiny85 is supplied with a USB interface, either a full USB port such as the DigiStump Digispark or micro USB via a cloned board commonly found on Aliexpress / Banggood etc.

Features

Atmel's itty-bitty ATtiny85 8-Bit Processor. 8K of program space, 6 I/O lines, and 4-channel 10 bit ADC. Runs up to 20MHz with an external crystal. The package can be programmed in a circuit.

The high-performance, low-power Microchip 8-bit AVR® RISC-based microcontroller combines 8 KB ISP Flash memory, 512B EEPROM, 512B SRAM, six general-purpose I/O lines, 32 general purpose working registers, one 8-bit timer/counter with compare modes, one 8-bit high-speed timer/counter, USI, internal and external Interrupts, 4-channel 10-bit A/D converter, programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator, three software selectable power saving modes, and debugWIRE for on-chip debugging. The device achieves a throughput of 20 MIPS at 20 MHz and operates between 2.7-5.5 volts.

Steps to Order PCBs From JLCPCB

Full Process is shown using Screenshots Step-wise

Now we have got the PCB design and it’s time to order the PCBs. For that, you just have to go to JLCPCB and click on the“QUOTE NOW” button.

JLCPCB is also a sponsor of this project. JLCPCB (ShenzhenJLC Electronics Co., Ltd.), is the largest PCB prototype enterprise in China and a high-tech manufacturer specializing in quick PCB prototype and small-batch PCB production. You can order a minimum of 5 PCBs for just $2.

To get the PCB manufactured, upload the Gerber file you downloaded in the last step. Upload the.zip file or you can also drag and drop the Gerber files.

After uploading the zip file, you’ll see a success message at the bottom of the file is successfully uploaded.

You can review the PCB in the Gerber viewer to make sure everything is good. You can view both the top and bottom of the PCB. After making sure our PCB looks good, we can now place the order at a reasonable price. You can order 5 PCBs for just $2 but if it’s your first order then you can get 5 PCBs for $2.

To place the order, click on the“SAVE TO CART” button. My PCBs took 2 days to get manufactured and arrived within a week using the DHL delivery option. PCBs were well packed and the quality was really good.
