Description

This is a Parallel IO Interface based on SC103 Z80 PIO board by Stephen Cousins (https://smallcomputercentral.wordpress.com/sc103-z80-pio-module-rc2014/) with some modifications to support a DB25 connector.

The prototype board has been tested with my CP/M machine (see Baffa-2 Homebrew Computer at https://hackaday.io/project/183266-baffa-2-homebrew-microcomputer) but can there is another board layout compatible with RC2014 pinout.

For my next step, I will adapt the Baffa-2 Bios (which is based on Grant Searle's Bios) to natively support the printer as LPT (Standard line printer) output.

Details

This is a demonstration of how the printer interface works.

The next step is to update the BIOS Rom for the Baffa-2 computer to support the printer via CP/M. The BIOS is sourced from Grant Searle and adapted for Baffa-2.
