H and his dad have been avidly watching every Starship launch and are excited about a return to the moon and then people stepping foot on, and colonising Mars. We have tried to recreate a Mars colonisation, using some of the tools and techniques we have been practising.

The description here, has been written by an adult. The construction was mostly completed by an 8 year old, H, with some assistance and direction by dad. The components and build instructions have been written entirely by an 8 year old, with only minor spelling edits by an adult.

    Cutting the pipe to size

    First cut the pipe to the appropriate tunnel size

    Cut the box into a mountain

    Cut a box into a tunnel for the mine

  • 3
    Glue the tunnel into place

    Next get the glue gun and glue the PVC that you made before around the track
