New 3D Printed Case

A project log for All-In-One Gamma-Ray Spectrometer

More sensitive to gamma radiation than a Geiger counter with the added bonus of telling exactly what's inside your samples!

If you want to get a case for the Open Gamma Detector, you can do so now! Finally, here's a 3D-printable case with a couple of different cover styles to mount the detector PCB and the scintillator. It's not really small, of course, but you can mount a scintillator with a maximum size of up to 5 x 5 x 5 cm and still have plenty of room in the front to expand on the electronics. For example, you could add a pretty substantial battery with minimal modifications or even some AA or AAAs out of the box.

The STL files for you to print the case body and all the different covers are - as always - on GitHub.

Have fun! :)
