I build this preamplifier almost 20 years ago and it still works as a champ. The preamp uses simple two tube configuration, gain stage and cathode follower with negative feedback to control gain. Power supply consist of two 12V transformers connected in back to back configuration (see my other post regarding this) with high voltage regulator VB408.
