Huge milestone!

Mathpad is live on Crowd Supply! This event marks a major step towards making Mathpad publicly available as a real, tangible product. Getting to this stage has meant months of work, and has taught me the great difference between a one-off prototype and a real, usable product.

During the months leading up to the release on Crowd Supply, I worked on all the extra bits and bops required to take Mathpad from a prototype to a product:

1. Wrote comprehensive documentation with all information you need to get started with using the Mathpad.
2. Worked closely with 3dkeycap to finalize the keycap design, including designing a completely custom Mode Switch keycap (in black).
3. Got Mathpad certified by OSHWA. This signals to the world that Mathpad is a truly open source product of high quality.
4. Gave the Mathpad repository a full facelift and cleanup to make it as easy to use as possible for anyone who wish to make modifications.
5. Incorporated a company, which functions as the owner of Mathpad. This has many advantages!

What next?

The coming months will be dedicated to outreach efforts and marketing. The Crowd Supply campaign requires 200 signups before the crowdfunding stage can begin. Look out for videos, social media posts, and other outreach efforts! You can help by sharing this project with anyone who may be interested.
