Our project is to improve the density of the urban population in public transport thanks to our application which will warn users.

Strikes and peak hours are often a source of trouble for users. The public transport network is quickly paralyzed and travel is then made very difficult. Even if teleworking is now possible in many companies, some users cannot do otherwise and must therefore find a plan B. Our mobile application allows you to quickly find a solution by indicating in real time an estimate of the number of people present on public transport lines. For this we will install a meter near the access gates to minimize the margin of error. We will use the Arduino while linking this to the internet in order to simplify the route taking for users.

We are a group of 3 students whose objectives are to facilitate and save precious time for public transport users. With this in mind, we have designed an application directly connected to the Arduino that will send us the necessary information to inform our customers. We had the idea of buying a meter close to the passage of tickets (50cm) which will allow the meter to minimize our errors during quotes. In order to carry out this project, we need: ESP32 card, resistor, led, two ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, wires.

In addition we will represent and simulate our circuit on the tinkercad simulator. And then we will designed the application with marvel app.

Final group meeting: review of the entire technical part + test of the circuit, program, and review of the application.

Morning, we had trouble getting a passage to decrease or increase the number of people depending on the sensor and to link it to the wifi networks in order to be able to transmit the data collected by the sensor to our application.

We decided to make available the design of our application.

Thereafter we made on a power point shared during our call, the presentation of our project.

We helped each other to master our subject by asking questions and answering those who had not understood certain details.

At the end of this power point that we had made a little progress during the previous days, the tasks were distributed for the presentation during the defense.

We trained during the afternoon and late evening.

Following the last meeting, we succeeded in connecting the code to the internet and therefore to the application.

    How?

So we decided to put us at 3 for the morning. It took us longer than expected, because there was a problem when linking the code to the application. However we had some leads, some successes in our advancement. .

On the other hand, we were late for the presentation of the project.

We therefore shared the tasks as follows: Riyan designs the application with the help of his teamates and Joshua improve the program and readjust what is needed in support with Riyan.

Today we dedicated our work to programming on arduino. On 03/07 at the end of our meeting we concluded on the start of programming the arduino project all together.

To start Riyan and Joshua did research on programming on arduino, followed by tutorials. We have transcribed on a sheet everything that the counter must do step by step to be able to program it.

Once all the steps were done, we had a team meeting to validate this one.

We were finally able to start programming our steps on arduino. we took a lot of time on the library implemented. so we asked for help from comrades to be able to help us solve our problem.

Once the library was completed we finalized the code.

Final meeting of the day: we absolutely had to spend more time on the presentation of our project and less on the technical aspect on which we had already made good progress.

We started on the implementation of the circuit. Several searches on the internet have been made, in particular the bulk of the work today, was on the datahseet of each component.

This allowed us to know on which pins connected each component to avoid circuit runs.

In parallel we watched videos, reports on the news of public transport in order to be cultivated and to be able to respond as much as possible to users of its transport.

To date we wanted to resume the project that we carried out before in order to improve it.

After several discussions during our meetings. we then started with the database which seemed to be the key to our project.

A problem arose. We did not respond to the instruction given by the teacher, ie linked the IOT with the internet. Despite our reflections and our research, we decided to look into another approach. that of the city by taking everything from the beginning with a different methodology.

    - Meetings on the TEAMS application every day

    - distribution of tasks for the days to come, summary of each day by the members and areas for improvement.

We therefore studied the areas in common that posed problems to us in order to propose solutions.

We found ourselves in the area of public transport.

We inquired about the parts needed to make our assembly and be able to simulate it.

Joshua, Mehdi with the support of Riyan carried out research on the internet.

so we needed two ultrasonic sensors, led, resistor, ESP32 card.

We then asked our teacher for information in order to be sure to be on the right track.

Riyan, under the supervision of Joshua and Mehdi, learned about the software that we will use for circuit assembly and simulation, WOKWI. and for the design of an application we chose to use MARVELAPP.

At the end of our meeting on the TEAMS application we set ourselves the objective of finishing the circuit the next day to be able to start the code.

We started our research work together with a team meeting to be able to communicate and transmit information as efficiently as possible. We focused on a common problem which is the overcrowling of people on public transport when going to school, for example, or from point A to point B, especially during rush tour. We have established a mind mapping on the advantages and disadvantages that we encounter. At the end of this process we assigned ourselves our tasks that will respect throughout our project.

How are we going to proceed with our idea?

We needed a counter to count the number of people entering the metro. We therefore opted for the arduino for an afficient assembly.

To transmit the information of this meter we want it connected to an application, which will be accessible to customers with a telephone (android, iphone) while going through the internet.
