For my new kitchen I want a fancy recirculating kitchen hood.
Efficient - get rid of most smells and grease
Quiet - I would put a certain dB range here, but to be honest I haven’t got a clue
Elegant - it should fit in a design that can also be used as a lamp ( over the same island)
convenient - having a system to move it up and down easily ( with pulleys and counterweight )
Intuitive - controls that are easy understandable ( maybe with sensoren automatic speed control)
cheap to build and maintain
