This timer is controlled by means of DOWN cascade counters in descent for counting in reverse, for time control we use an astable NE555 and for the latching pulse an SCR. The programming will be done with binary logic, that is, binary weights and we can only program tens from 09 seconds to 99 seconds.
The project works with 5VDC and has a module that converts 220VAC to 5VDC 1A, at the output we will control an AC 10A220VAC load, it can be a light bulb or even a motor.
I program the time that I require and I give it START, the LOAD is turned on and when it reaches 00 it turns off and so on we can program it and be able to see its operation is stable and reliable it could be done in many other ways with microcontrollers and/or arduino, etc. .
