SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM

Here we will see the schematic diagram of the two modules so that you can also do it yourself.

TRAFFIC LIGHT DESCRIPTION

Traffic lights, also known as traffic control signals, are signaling devices that are placed at road intersections and other locations to regulate traffic, and thus pedestrian traffic. The first traffic light, designed by John Peake Knight, was installed in London in 1868

FUNCTIONING

The operation is basic, we only have to use positive or negative pulses for the case of color changes that have GND as a common point, that is, they have to receive positive pulses to activate or activate some color or make color and number changes of the display, these two need to be synchronized to carry out our project.

The programming of the numbers can be done in many ways: digital electronics, microcontroller, Arduino, etc.

We will use common anode display, that is to say that to activate the segments and visualize the numbers we have to have negative pulses and thus control the display for 7 sec.
