A gearbox to be mounted on NEMA17 stepper motors, to be used in hobby robotics projects :)
Designed to be printed on a standard FDM 3D printer.
There are two versions:
* Planetary Gearbox with a reduction of 4.36
* Wolfrom Gearbox with a reduction of 76
Both versions are set up with a large diameter roller bearing on the output side.
The gearboxes are used in two other projects:
* Robot arm: https://hackaday.io/project/182652-3d-printed-palletizing-robot-arm
* Mobile Plattform: coming soon
Files
GearboxWolfrom_V01.zip
STL files of the wolfrom gearbox parts that are printed. You do need four planets.
With PLA the tolerances were very good in my set up; using PETG was not that good... I adjusted the fit to the bearings by printing with a slight increase in size, defined in the slicer.
