Had spare batteries for my Shengmilo MX02S ebike.
Wanted a way to use this stored capacity in case of power outage.

For next time:
* Voltmeter for ebike
* Higher case
* Less noisy fans or passive cooled.

Wanted a way to use my ebike capacity in case of power outage. Searched a while for 48VDC USB chargers, but there's not a lot available. Since there's already a wealth of equipment for cars. figured I'd go for 24V.

The casing is repurposed 1U Server PSUs.
DC-DC converter is set to 24V.
DC-DC converter heatsink was milled to fit in the height.
The 2 12v PSU fans are wired in series.

  • 1 × Dolly DP-6C Carrier
  • 2 × 1U Server PSU Casing
  • 1 × SZ-BK6012 DC-DC Buck Converter
  • 1 × Car Panel with On/Off, 2xQC3.0, cigarette lighter, voltmeter
