FluorCams are imaging fluorometers that measure sequences of Chlorophyll fluorescence (ChlF) images with user-defined irradiance protocols and timing of measurements. Fluorescence emission is induced by two (or more) panels of super-bright, light emitting diodes (LEDs) that provide measuring flashes. Photochemistry is driven by continuous actinic irradiance and/or by strong saturating pulses of light that are generated by LED panels.
Fluorescence images are captured by a CCD camera.
The main goal for this project has:
1) To build a rugged and reliable low cost imaging fluorometers FluorCam with 3D printable parts, Arduino and Raspberry Pi (Homemade and low cost parts).
2) Makr consistent and professional quality results in home or Lab.
