ROBOT balancing humanoid AR VR rpg

This project was created on 03/16/2023 and last updated a year ago.

Description

Balancing Trike Robot

This robot is a variation of my other AR/VR Gaming Robot project. This "Trike" balances on 2 wheels at the base of it's legs, with a third wheel at the top for friction free steadying against the wall or floor.

The tracking on this robot mostly only tracks the pelvis, to which you can pin any virtual
component of your character you like. Having played with a ton of tracking techs, I like face tracking the best.

I think it will be easier to program then a legged robot. It uses from 4 to 8 motors, and I expect it to weigh about 15 lbs. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of mobility I can get in a mini obstacle course.

I just wanted to let anyone that is following this project know that I don't intend on continuing with this project. Mostly it is because I want to focus my attention on the other Machine.
