The Ohmni-Stick can be used standalone on a flat surface, or for more secure mounting in different orientations the enclosure includes a 1/4"-20 threaded insert. This mounting point is compatible with a wide range of clamps, tripods, and articulated arms typically used for camera gear. 

For testing I have found an 11 inch articulating friction arm with a desk clamp is a great option.
