What is PoE? My tough PoE development process

This board that I introduced to you is a board that I made before. There is my development history on that link.

After this project, I made the board and used it for various projects. I'm using it more conveniently and better than I thought. So I'd like to introduce this board.

The Bare board has arrived. It's a picture of the front and the back.

This is what it looks like when you put it together. WIZnet's Ethernet chip and transformer are placed on the front, and Switching IC is placed on the back.

This is what it looks like with the Pico board. It's a very compact board. The additional header outputs +5V, +3.3V power. You can operate up to 8W of various applications.

The specifications of the board meet up to 8W, Mode A, Mode B, and Active PoE. The Raspberry Pi Pico is a very small MCU board. If it is used for a device, it will be a device that pursues compactness. Therefore, it is more advantageous to make the PoE board smaller in this case.

I've done some projects with this board.

WoW ! Enjoy the current weather with Picasso's painting!!

These are projects that I made using this Pico PoE board. It was very convenient to proceed with the project because it was small and simple.

The materials on this board are all open to the entire project. But I've created a board that has better voltage characteristics and smaller ones. If anyone needs the data, please let me know and I will share it.

Let's all enjoy Ethernet comfortably with PoE boards!
