Hi to the two people following this project.

I have not very pretty, very bad version of the code for everything with the simpler and cheaper LED matrixes, and everything is working now. 

Because of this, I'm now at a state where I will publish the files, but this will have to wait till the end of the semester.

My plan for releasing the files is to originally just dump the original files onto GitHub and onto printables. The original release will not have instructions, as I am still finalizing a lot of things and it will not make sense to make a true guide until I make some changes. I will write up a general procedure on how to make and assemble it, but it will require some technical knowledge.
