Plants are in place!
06/30/2025 at 10:44 • 0 commentsI'm really happy with how it looks, and so far (after 1–2 weeks), everything is growing well!
There are still a few features I want to add—like automatic rotation of the tower over time.

New Bucket Sizes
06/03/2025 at 16:18 • 0 commentsI have selected two new buckets that are inexpensive to buy pre-made and much larger than my old ones. I will design the 3D model around these two sizes.

Shelf for the future plant towers
05/19/2025 at 17:45 • 0 commentsI made a kind of shelf out of old wood. The new plant tower will go here instead of hanging from the ceiling like the old one. It will be four separate towers.

A last harvest before the reboot
05/14/2025 at 21:54 • 0 commentsI’m harvesting what I can, because despite my efforts (testing different substrates, oxygenating the water, and reducing the number of watering cycles per day), I can’t get rid of the root rot problem.
I believe the issue lies in the horizontal design, which causes water to stagnate. I’m going to completely dismantle this setup and try a new approach using vertical towers.
More news about that in a few days 😉 -
Improve Electrical Setup
01/23/2025 at 20:53 • 0 commentsInitially, I only planned to have a pump connected to a Wi-Fi outlet for this setup.
Over time, though, I’ve added two USB UV LEDs, a second pump for brassing, and, most recently, an oxygenator. As a result, the wiring has become quite messy :
It’s time to upgrade this, with a 4-relay Wi-Fi board and some 3D-printed casings ! -
Oxygen and root moisture Issues
01/13/2025 at 15:31 • 3 commentsI have a moisture problem. The roots that are completely submerged are dying.
The plants still look okay, but I think this will become a problem in the future.I have read that this could be due to root asphyxiation if the water is not sufficiently oxygenated.
I will install this aquarium oxygenator in the water tank to try to fix it.
