Update 3/11/2025:
Shift Register and H-Bridge ICs arrived, and PCBs arrived. Soldered SMD components on using microscope and fine soldering tip.

Next Steps:
Write Arduino code to control shift register and send input signals to H-Bridge ICs.

Man, this is magnificent work! Congrats! How did you came up with the specs for the pcb coils? Was it trial and error, or you calculated it?

mostly trial and error! i looked at the standard braille convention and tried to make the coils fit in a 4-5mm diameter circle. trace width is 0.15mm, smallest that jlcpcb can manufacture, so i can pack as many turns in as possible.
