I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, but I want to start another travelling hacker box. A survey is up, feel free to submit me some info. We'll wait a week or so and get a good list going. I got the box again over a month ago, but I have been working ridiculous hours and haven't had a chance to really mess with it. Upon opening it, I was very surprised to see some of the cool stuff in there as well as how much had changed since I started it on it's journey. Here's what I took out:

Some stickers, LEDs, retractable LAN cable, STM32 Dev board, and what looks to be some kind of motion sensor.

    Here's what I put in:

A Wifi quadcopter, some solder braid, a Pi Zero with the Scroll Phat, and a Hackvision that I never got to work properly. It's on it's way to jlbrian now!!

Got the box today! Very interested in what was in the box, I put off my honey do list to dig in. Opening it up it was like looking in to a hackers treasure trove. So I took some of the Items that I thought I might use in the months coming up. Even as I was picking stuff out, I thought of a project to build and got parts for that to. But wait there is not enough room or what I want to add (oh no!!!). So I put stuff aside that was to bulky and repackage the counter (and bob your uncle) I got every thing to fit ( minus one car dash 7" tft screen for the RPI). I am also adding a few red and or UV leds. One pack is not labeled could be blue who knows.

    Every thing in the box.

What I got out of the box. The thing in the silver packaging and yellow sticker I took to find out what it was.

What I put in the box. Leds are not in the photo. and if I can find one I will include a RFC pill for the RFC reader (that if I can find it before I send it, and yes I said pill.)

    Edit 6/29/2017*

I added some Leds, jack plugs one male, one female, a grove touch switch for the WIO node, a ATtiny programmer ( I dont know what it programs ebay buy for $2) and some long header pins. Before I got it ready to send.

This is what i left, spare the servo controller (https://www.adafruit.com/product/815) which i forgot until it was all packed:

    this is what I kept:

I had a great idea with the ipaq. it runs windows, so i'm going to get the arduino ide to work on it. Thanks you guys, my dad and I had a ball looking through the stuff! he's a electrician, so when he saw the tape he said "wow, somebody even threw tape in here!" a minute later "oh, this isn't even the good stuff" he says they call it "jap-wrap" and it's the cheap kind it does not hold at all on big cables in the winter XD only an electrician. electrical tape is electrical tape i told him.

So I almost have the box full. Most of the stuff is pretty good (from my point of view), but there were a couple filler items. That being said, this box has hundreds of dollars of electronics/hardware hacking goods. No stickers though (I use every one I get almost instantly, lol). Please don't steal it. Here's a random incomplete list of what I remember dropping in there last night:

    Couple of Arduino Nano clones

    A Digispark or 2

    MSP430

    Stellaris Launchpad

    X-slice dev board

Old camcorder - tape deck is shot, but the flip out screen and eyepiece screen both still work

A few Playstation style joysticks with breakout

Assortment of different sized FR4 prototyping boards

RGB LED strip with 12V adapter

    Induction charging kit from Adafruit

    Mini breadboard(s)

    15 CR2032s

    16x2 LCD

Compaq iPaq Pocket PC with charger and dock

    24VDC counter

    Random PCBs from OSH park

Also added a small tackle box with:

    Micro SD breakout

    A bunch of small screens

    ~10 Microswitches

Vibration motors harvested from Xbox controllers

    Male and female headers

    LED bars

    RCA Jacks

...And that's all I can remember, lol. To me, it's less important to list everything, so that way everyone will get a surprise when they open it. I will finish filling it up tonight and send it out to @jlbrian7 tomorrow. Will update the main map with the first leg of the journey soon.
