Buzz Box v1.0 Build
The basis of the project started with building a Buzz Box magneto timer (http://buzzzboxes.com/) which gave me a general idea of the scope of the project and also gave me a few ideas on how to improve the circuit and build upon it.
As current, the basics of the buzzz box are a LM556 pulse generator and a LM324 signal amplifier, though at the very least, I will probably change out the pulse generator on Buzz Box v2.0.
The basic of the Buzzz Box are a LM556 pulse generator and a LM324 signal amplifier.
This is the basic circuit design of the Buzzz Box v1.0 as it stands
LM556 Dual Timer IC pinout
LM324 Amplifier IC pinout
14 pin sockets, LM556 & LM324 ICs, 4700Ω resistors, 2200Ω resistors, 1000Ω resistors, 2N2222 transistors added to the circuit.
Adding 1n4001 diodes and 100000Ω resistors to the circuit
470pF disc capacitor, 47000Ω resistors, 0.01 μF disc capacitor, 6800Ω resistor, 1 μF capacitors and 1n4148 diodes added.
270Ω, 1000000Ω, 22000Ω & 10000Ω resistors added. 5mm red and green LEDs added. On / off switch, leads, speaker and battery clip added.
Circuit complete
Adding the circuit into the casing.

Has there been any updates to this unit? I built one but had to guess on some part values as the schematic is not clear. When tested the unit takes about 10 seconds to reset the leds and sound to reset. I must have something wrong as the reset time makes it almost useless while timing a magneto. Any suggestions on where to look for the fault if this is not the design. Thanks
